These beautiful antique tap pants are very large. This may be because the elastic is poor, but they look to be made this way intentionally. They are handsewn with five panels, including a large "backside" panel and a generous crotch panel.
DATING TO THE 1930’S. We can be found online on other platforms as well. MATCHING LACE IS INSERTED ALL AROUND THE BOTTOM HEM. all flaws if any are painstakingly outlined. This vintage 1930s short dimpled cotton nightgown is the palest pink color. It has lace insets and embroidered floral details on both the yoke and hem areas. Neckline is scooped front and back, with cap sleeves. Size is small - bust is about 17" across the back under arms, with front gathers for probably not more than an A or B cup. Waist across is about 14" and length is 33" from shoulder to hem. Very good condition except there is a 5" yellow stain on the hem lace in front as shown. Perfect for those who appreciate vintage clothing and looking for a special addition to their sleepwear collection.
