Vintage late 1930’s – 1940’s yellow rayon BERRIES & CHERRIES print swishy dress

Live your best Summer life in this dreamy Berries & Cherries print, on sunny yellow, rayon dress circa late 30's! I adore the incredible and idyllic print on this fabulous vintage dress -how could you not? Featuring the Summer-iest of prints, this lightweight dress is perfect for hotter weather. It's made of a super soft rayon weave fabric, with a light sunny yellow ground, and juicy berry & cherry print in green and pink-red hues, with black and white shadows and highlights. It's meant to have a somewhat loose and casual fit and flare silhouette, with v-neckline, short sleeves and fairly straight-cut skirt. There are wonderful, non-obvious details in the gathering and shirring, at shoulders, upper waist and through the center waistline decorative stitching. There is a side button closure at left side seam, as well as self-fabric ties at either side of waist line. Dress is unlined, without pockets or other details to note. No labels or maker's marks to note either. Overall condition is excellently with three repairs; two unobvious around shoulder/arm area, and one original repair at center front neckline, plus very mild pit stains -please review photographs for full details.
