Authentic Vintage Late 30s - 1940s Rose Pink Taffeta Dress ~ Gown. Classic 40s shirred features on the bodice. Asymmetrical front Peplum rounds hips to a series of pleats that dips a little lower to center back. Cap sleeves with no armpit damage. Side metal zipper that works smoothly. Skirt is a near full circle and a little bit longer in the back! Modified V neck and original shoulder padding in place. The back bodice darts have been let out as an older alteration. The dress is in very good condition. Very wearable. It does have water spots on the upper back across the back shoulders. See photo. Also water mark on front peplum and along the bottom hem. A 1 1/2" section will need to be re stitched at the waist seam.
