This bodice of royal blue wool and printed black silk was once part of a 2 pc 1890’s 2 pc winter ensemble dress. The bodice is trimmed in jet bead braid and a delicate black printed silk. I wonder what the matching skirt looked like. There are some holes on the right lower collar and some other scattered small holes throughout. It is missing its hooks and eyes for the front closure. It is an amazing bodice and has incredible inner construction. The bust is 32 inches, the waist is 26 inches and from the neckline to the bottom of the bodice in front is 12.5 inches. The shoulders are 10 inches across and the sleeves are 22.5 inches.
