ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN 1890s PETTICOAT LACE DOUBLE RUFFLE DRAWSTRING WAIST

Charming antique Edwardian era petticoat. The fabric has quite a bit of body and weight to it. This petticoat would provide a good deal of fullness under a skirt. There is a drawstring at the waist, and draws closed at the back, again providing fullness and shape in the derriere region. The bottom half of the petticoat has two layers of fabric with the top layer four bands of lovely handmade lace ruffled, the bottom being scalloped. The petticoat is in very good condition with only very minor areas of wear, and no bad stains. With the drawstring fully tightened, the waist measures approximately 26". All the way opened, the waist measurement is 54" so you can see this is quite adjustable. The overall length of the petticoat is approximately 32". Thanks for looking.
