The 40s and 50s are my favorite eras although I can often find things to like from any period. 1970s does 1940s dress. Jersey knit with a bit of give, an a-line silhouette, and exaggerated buttons.

Vintage party/cocktail dress. The color is a turquoise and the fabric is a heavier fabric with a pattern (see photographs). I believe the dress is hand made.
