Very pretty vintage 1950's party dress - Brand is Carol Gowns by Mr. Walter of Chicago. Does have a few issues, but is wearable as it is. This dress has a full skirt with a silky fabric lining and a crinoline under that. The sheer pink gingham fabric does have several tiny holes. Metal zipper up the back. Fully lined. Antique C1910 Edwardian Tennis Dress. Linen and organdy white dress with gored skirt and ruffled front organdy bodice. Measures 53” long, 36” bust, and 26 1/2” waist. Condition is very good, no stains, repair or other problems. Front snap and hook and eye closure. Couple of snaps are missing. Unusual find. All offers considered.

The original label is under the lining, but visible. Besides beading, the body and collar have net and embroidered flower and leaf appliques. Inside the body is a two layer very soft net and lace lining, which I have seen in other Bernhard Altmann sweaters.
