Enchanting two piece top and full skirt with grosgrain back bow. The nuance between lace overlay and organdy is perfection. The rhinestone buttons actually ruche the cap sleeves. Vintage 1980s tea party dress by Mary Jane Denzer. This is a gorgeous, high quality designer dress in pink and cream. * The bodice is a V criss cross neck with snap closure. It was made with sheer cream organdy (I believe it is silk) with pink dots. It has huge puff sleeves trimmed in lace. I believe the lace is Guipure lace. ** The skirt was made from high quality, pink nubbly linen that is box pleated at the waist and is trimmed with beautiful Guipure lace. There is a matching linen belt. Back zipper. Acetate base in cream and pink. Absolutely gorgeous! Fabric is like a cotton organdy. raised embroidered bodice. one side of the skirt has a swag, the other side does not, not sure if one was on the other side, there is stitching where one might of been, looks fine the way it is, can be covered with lace or flowers.
A gorgeous antique dress from the mid to late 1910s! Crisp organdy in tea shade/ecru. Bloused and pintucked bodice with wide cut half length sleeves trimmed in lace. Lace bib style panel at front of bodice, back of bodice has wide lace panel that’s tacked down at neck and waist. Ankle length scalloped hem skirt with horizontal lace panel. Sash belt of embroidered floral ribbon. Closes off center with a series of metal snaps. Attached underdress made of fine netting. No labels present; very nicely made. Very good condition, has been stored away for many years and I have not cleaned it. Fabric is strong and sturdy. Faint rings in underarms, darker at net lining than outer dress. A few small stains throughout including some tiny dark spots scattered across front of bodice, edging of lace panel on skirt is detached, small tear in lace trim of underdress, a few small tears in skirt on right side halfway between waist and hem. Some of the snaps are loose and need tightened up, half of metal snap at back waist that doesn’t have a mate. 49” long 16.5” shoulder t waist 20” underarm to underarm 28” waist 44” hips
The previous owner added to the lining a butter soft petticoat which is being sewed and has pins too. This petticoat part could be removed easily or it could be stitched better. The scarf has a small spots area shown in last pic.
