Antique 1930s-1940s Chanel Adaptation label dress. Rayon crepe, sheet mesh shoulders with cut out vine detail, snap cuffs, size metal zipper, original cinch belt. This is not a Chanel original, but a licensed reproduction from a one-of-a-kind Chanel original or a design loosely based on an original. The adaptation label was used to sell limited edition garments, usually no more than 50 of each, based on one of a kind designer items before WW2. No tag size, measures and fits like a modern large. 42” bust 32” waist 46” hip 46” length Condition: There are a few tiny pinholes on the mesh near the neck area, and a nickel sized hard white circlular spot on the side of the skirt, of which I am unsure of the origin. These could be fixed by a trusted seamstress. This dress is perfectly wearable and strong! Pet and smoke free home!
