Darling hand knit wool zip up cardigan with puff sleeves and metal Talon zipper closure. Displayed on a mannequin that is roughly a size 8. Please note that the measurements below are taken flat. Since this garment is knit, there is some stretch. Armpit to armpit 17 /4” Shoulder to shoulder 14 1/2” Hem across 18” Length at center back 20” Great condition. No signs of moth holes, tears, stains, etc. Please also note that this garment is at least 80 years old and was homemade. Therefore, may be some minor imperfections, but they are part of the charm.

Cute little step-in for day wear in the summer of nightwear to bed. It is pretty much straight up and down rather than a bias cut. Would be cute with a belt also. Pleated smocked bodice with scalloped eyelet edging or openwork trim. I really like this detail. There is one lone rosette on the base of one strap. This step in does not have buttons at the crotch. Absolutely stunning 30s or 40s dress The little jacket is the icing on the cake Armpit to armpit is 17” and it has breast darts so there’s some wiggle room Length is approximately 44” Waist is approximately 14” The only flaws I could find is some soiled spots on the inside lining and one of the button loops has come undone -on one side - of the jacket- see photos I have not laundered and it has no smell
