This garment is from the late 1880’s and was created in The United States. It is made of a gray figure fabric and ivory silk and lace. The bodice has a bust of 32 inches and a waist of 25 inches. The shoulders measure 12.5 inches across and the sleeve length is 23.5 inches. The skirt has a waist of 25 inches and a length from waist to hem in front 39 inches. The bodice has fade on the sleeves and scattered spots and small holes through the whole garment. The skirt has obviously been worn many more times than the bodice and has faded drastically. It is lined in cotton and has an old trunk odor.
