VTG 1950s PAUL SACHS ORIGINAL Rayon STRIPED WIGGLE DRESS w/TAIL at Back *SMOKIN

INCREDIBLY UNIQUE** Vintage Late 1940s-Early 50s "Paul Sachs Original" Rayon High-Waist Belted Wiggle Dress done in a Fantastic Graduated Width Pin-Stripe Cocoa & Ivory Fabric with Mitered Stripes at the Side & Front Seams, High Notched Lapel collar. This Dress has a Full Panel at the Back fashioned like a Long "Tail" which is accented by the same buttons that secure the bodice at the front. 3/4-Length Peaked Cuff Sleeves, Metal Zipper Below the waist is Concealed at front. Beautiful Seam construction which facilitates the incredible linear lines of this dress, partial cotton liner in the hip area of the skirt. Measures Chest 36", Waist 31", Hip 36", Length shoulder to hem 45". Very Good Condition, a few pin-holes (only visible when held to the light) at the upper back that translate at the exterior as "specks". Dinge at the tag & possible underarm shadows but it's way too close for me to even call (it's that light if so). One of the rear buttons is lighter than the others and one at the bodice has a speck of wear (photo). Ad shown is from 1948.
