Vtg 1950/60s Women’s L’Aiglon Suit/Size 12/Jacket & Skirt/Rayon & Flax/Navy Blue

For sale is a Vintage 1950/60s Women's L'Aiglon Suit in Size 12. Color is Navy blue and fabric is Rayon & Flax (hand washable). The 3-Button Jacket has a collar that forms a V neck and is nicely fitted with princess seams and darts. Jacket back also has princess seaming. Jacket sleeves are 3/4. The skirt isn’t quite as narrow as a pencil skirt. The back has darts and the front has 2 hidden front pockets (there are no side seams). Narrow 3/4” waistband. Skirt has a few tiny gathers over hip area and in front—back is flat. Metal zipper with button closure. Both suit pieces are lined—the jacket in burgundy satin and the skirt in a lightweight cotton(?). The suit has been well cared for and even has underarm perspiration guards pinned in to the jacket pits, so no stains on the satin. Please note: disregard the gray color in some of my pictures—the suit is definitely navy. I apologize for the wrinkled skirt. The suit needs a good pressing after having been stored and my iron is still packed in a moving box!
