Vintage Wool Bathing Suit 1920s Art Deco Schmelrer’s Sporting Goods Kansas City

Specifications

This is a vintage 1920s Art Deco Wool Bathing Suit. I purchased it from the original owner's daughter at an estate sale. Her mother was born in 1909 and passed this down to her daughter who is now in her 80s. It was saved all these years and is in remarkable condition. I suspect it is a Jantzen suit with the store label Schmelrer's Sporting Goods Kansas City. The fabric shows brighter red in some of my photos than it is in real life. Some measurements are: waist size is 28", armpit to armpit is 15". E-mail with questions.
