Vintage Women's Kasper For ASL 2-Piece Long Sleeve Red Skirt Suit, Size 14. Condition is "Pre-owned". Excellent condition. Zipper tab has lost some of it's red paint, but this doesn't show under the zipper flap. (See last photo). No other visible flaws or defects. This beautiful vintage suit, from the 1980s, has a unique style that's hard to find. It's very classy, and never appears dated. The suit is deep red. Depending on your device, it may appear off-red in the photos, but it is a pure, dark Christmas-like red. Rather than buttoning up, it has a collar that drapes into 2 full length lapels with decorative black buttons & button holes. Because it doesn't button closed, it hangs gracefully, even if the wearer is well endowed, without pulling across the bust. There are two pockets, and the long sleeves each have a matching decorative button. Jacket has built in shoulder pads. The suit is made of polyester blended with viscose rayon. The rayon makes the suit a bit softer and slightly more flowy than standard poly suits. Jacket is about 22.5" across, measured from armpit to armpit. (45" total)It is 28" long, from back bottom of collar to hem.Sleeves are about 24.5" in length. The skirt is straight, with a 9" kick pleat and a 3.75" slit within the kick pleat itself; so there is freedom of movement without exposure. Skirt waist is 32".Hip is 42" (measured about 8" down from waist.)Length is 27", including waistband. Shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
