Vintage Tiered Black Half Slip Wonder Maid Poly Nylon, Size L fits M, Waist 30

Specifications

Attractive and useful vintage tiered long black half slip is by Wonder Maid, made from a poly / nylon blend. It has lace on hem and between bottom tier and second tier. Each tier is gathered, giving the slip a lot of fullness to wear under a something like a circle skirt or a loose 1970s peasant skirt. The fabric is dense enough that the daring could wear this as a skirt on its own, maybe for a whimsigoth style outfit. Size marked is "large" but it fits more like a medium of today. The elastic waist across measures about 12" unstretched, and maybe 15" across stretched a bit (not too much since you want it comfy). Length down side seam is 27". Hem circumference is 114". Condition is very good, no issues. Dates between 1974 and 1995 based on the ILGWU union label.
