Vintage Mink Natural Fur Collar 1950s-1970s

50+ years vintage brown natural mink fur collar with 2 hooks & eyes for stand-up or more relaxed collar around neck. This clean mink fur collar was originally on a wool winter coat, and comes fully lined with the wool collar lining attached. There is soft fabric padding sewn behind the skins for easily changing what it will be attached to next. This is a Mid-Century 'Jackie-O' look. Measurements: Inside Curve: Tip-to-Tip 24" inches; Outside Curve: Tip-to-Tip - 30-1/2 inches Fur Depth at Widest ends (lining side, binding-to-binding): 4 inchesDepth at Widest (furry side): inches 4-1/2" inchesWidth of fur at back seam 2-1/4" This collar was originally made decades ago and later acquired along with many other fur pieces by my mother for repairs or fur remodeling in the 1970s. These pieces have been cared for in our family tailoring collection; we do not deal in new fur.
