This is a sweet little vintage hand crocheted button down top / cardigan sweater. It is marked a size L, but more like a modern American size XS / S. Hand crocheted / hand crocheted in Shanghai China. I'm guessing it dates to the 60's / early 70's. 100% cotton. Off white. Openwork crochet. Scalloped edging. Crochet covered buttons down front. Tiny cap sleeves. Wide border at hem in pineapple crochet motif design. Such a sweet little top to pop over a cami or slip dress. In excellent vintage condition - near pristine. No spots, no damage, no broken stitches. Immaculately clean. From a smoke free home. MEASUREMENTS taken laid flat, side to side. Shown on size 2 dress form, which measures 32-27-35.5 Bust 16 1/2 Waist 16 Hip 20 Length 19.
