Vintage 1980’s Norma Kamali Oversized Purple Fleece Tunic with Slouchy Pockets

Norma Kamali was on "athleisure" long before anyone else, by decades. And while peers like Donna Karan were dabbling in comfort, only Norma was elevating jersey and fleece to a different level. It's just another example of women designing for women. A purple marled fleece tunic (I guess you could wear it as a dress too) with dropped shoulders and big slouchy pockets lined in twill so they stay slouchy, the fabric label is gone but my best educated guess is a cotton/acrylic blend to hold its color. Purple with flecks of pink, it zips at the nape so you get a nice fitted neckline. Tagged L, the bust literally measures 50", sleeve about 23" but since there is no shoulder seam this is variable and length 33". Excellent condition.
