Vintage 1980’s Issey Miyake Plantation Padded Double Gauze Oversized Blue Shirt

There is hardly a bad piece of Issey Miyake but you can have favorites and the spin that the Plantation label put on traditional Japanese clothing is among our very faves. The gauze piece are like being swaddled in baby blankets while being completely wearable and easy to care for. Sapphire blue boxy top in padded all cotton gauze with cropped sleeves and a slashed neckline. Welted seams throughout, we love this with, surprise!, Plantation seersucker pants and a pair of Shoes Like Pottery 01-JP sneakers.
