Vintage 1980’s-does-1920’s violet shift dress Jane Shaffhousen for BELLE FRANCE

Get a 20's look, without spending a ton of dough! This is a 1980's-does-1920's style dress. Made from a super lightweight and swishy rayon fabric, with a lovely sheen, this dress was originally teal colored. It had a few light discolorations throughout, so I decide to over-dye it to this beautiful violet color. This dress has a late 1910's to 1920's design and silhouette, with short sleeve featuring turned cuffs, a wide (almost Bertha style) and square double-layer collar, three button-up bodice with little floral buttons, and (one of my favorite little details) velvet belt loops on either side seam. The labels read 'Jane Schaffheusen for Belle France, size 8, 100% rayon'. The overall condition is good, with some light discoloration throughout; especially at waistline, upper back, and underarms. Repaired pinhead size holes at upper back. Please see photographs for full details.
