Vintage 1940s Ivory Rayon Old Hollywood Glamour Tailored Summer Skirt Suit S/M

Specifications

Vintage 1940s ivory rayon summer suit, consisting of skirt and jacket. Beautifully tailored, and rayon has a very nice weight and drape. Jacket buttons up the front, skirt closes with a side metal zip and button. Faux front pockets on jacket. No makers labels. Shown pinned at the waist on a 34" bust, 26" waist mannequin. Suit S/M. Jacket: Bust: 38"Shoulder: 16"Waist: 30" Sleeve: 10" Length: 22" (top of mid shoulder to bottom) Skirt:Waist: 28" Hip: 46" (10" down from waist) Length: 29" In good condition on the whole, with a few flaws -- top button missing on jacket. Some light discolouration on jacket, and some smaller fleck marks on both pieces, and marks at hem of the skirt, including a couple of small holes (photos 10 and 11). I haven't attempted to clean these. A dryclean, and a shortening of the hem may help. Sold as is. Please let me know if you have any questions!
