Very beautiful 1940s dress and jacket set. Black crepe with a burnt velvet floral bodice. No rips or tears to black crepe. The bodice does have some thinning and slight ripping at one armpit. This is shown in a photo. Does not affect wear. There is sun damage to the side and presents as a brownish line down where the side seams would be. Shown in photos. I’ve worn this as is and it isn’t very noticeable. It almost matches the color or the bodice. You can also try dying the fabric black. Has a matching belt in good repair. Side zip works with slight seam tear above. Measures approx 46” underarm to underarm. Approx 34” at waist.
