Specifications

An elegant antique original Victorian 1860 royal blue silk ballgown bodice from the Civil War era. The bodice has an off the shoulder design. The short cap sleeves are decorated with a band of silk and velvet trim and dark blue silk fringe. The neckline, armscyes and waist are piped. The bodice is boned and lined with cotton. It has a back hook and eye closure. The bodice is in very good condition. There are no splits or holes and just a thin line of underarm discoloration. Shoulders 18 Bust 32 Waist 22.
