DATING TO THE 1860’S FASHIONED OF A STRIPED SPRIG PRINT CALICO COTTON AND IS SEWN BY HAND FULLY THROUGHOUT. RUFFLING TRAVELS ACROSS THE CHEST AS WELL AS ACROSS THE BACK WITH MATCHING RUFFLES ON COLLAR AND CUFFS. PIPED DETAILING ON THE ARM HOLES WITH SLEEVES SET OFF THE SHOULDER, PIPING ON THE BELTING WITH BUTTON CLOSURE IN THE FRONT AND DOUBLE HOOK AND EYES AT THE WAIST. SKIRTING IS UNLINED WITH ONLY LINING ON THE INTERIOR ON THE BELTING AND TOP. CONDITION: ESTATE FRESH AND SOLD AS IT WAS ACQUIRED. THE BUTTONS WERE REMOVED FROM THE FRONT. HOOK AND EYES HAVE RUSTED. AGE COLOR SEEN ACROSS THE TOP WITH TWO NIPPED HOLES ON THE RIGHT SLEEVE, NOTE THE IMAGES. SOME DARKENED AGE COLOR SEEN TO THE SKIRTING AND IS PREDOMINATELY EVEN WITH SOME SCATTERED BROWN STAINS SEEN ON THE REAR MID RIGHT SIDE. A POCKET IS ON THE SIDE SEAM MIDDLE BACK REAR BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT IT BUTTONS CLOSED IN THE FRONT.
