DATING TO THE 1850’S FASHIONED OF A PINK SILK TAFFETA WITH WIDE SET NECKLINE FULLY PIPED. PIPED ARM SEAMS WITH PUFF SLEEVE AND FINE CARTRIDGE PLEATING AT THE OUTER BOTTOM TOP OF THE SLEEVE WITH FLAT PIPING AT THE EDGE. INTERIOR IS LINED IN A UTILITARIAN COTTON WITH HOOK AND EYES CLOSING. CONDITION: THE SEAM HAS COME FREE ON THE LEFT UNDERARM ON THE REAR SIDE, EASILY STITCHED BACK INTO PLACE. MILD UNDERARM AGE COLOR IS SEEN ON THE EXTERIOR, MUCH MORE PRONOUNCED, AS PICTURED, ON THE INTERIOR. INNER SILK BINDING HAS COME FREE ON THE INNER REAR. SEVERAL HOOKS ARE NEEDED.
