🩵 TURQUOISE ROSE 1940’s Pique Cotton Chartreuse & Lime Scalloped Wrap Hostess Gown • Fits a S/M/L This is a STELLAR, vintage 40’s piece in the CRISPEST, cotton pique fabric! Absolutely eye-catching in bright white, lime green, chartreuse, teal and turquoise.an abstract print with lush, blue roses. The neckline is fabulously scalloped with gathered shoulders. Long, straight sleeves. The gown features a double tie waist with an interior tie to secure the fit and an exterior waist tie to cinch and perfect! A wrap style allows for multiple different body types! The crisp, waffled cotton is perfect for Spring & Summer and in comes to you in one of my favorite colorways! The dress fabric is EXTREMELY unique in that it appears to have a waved, OMBRE structure to the fabric. In some places, the fabric features mint green and robin’s egg blue with the same turquoise & teal roses and in other places, the print is like green & chartreuse! Perfect with Flexiclogs & Bakelute! The dress can be worn as a hostess gown, house coat or day dress! CONDITION- Excellent! Looks and feels DEADSTOCK. Crisp and bright. The fabric is NOT faded in the lighter areas of the gown. The mint areas are throughout different areas of the gown. I believe this is a PRINT flaw and NOT FADE. If it was fade, the roses would be faded and they are deep & rich in color! A FABULOUS GOWN! MEASUREMENTS- Fits a Small to Large size! This is a WRAP dress. The interior waist ties down to 25 inches and fits up to 35 inches. The hips fit up to 46 inches. The Bust fits 40 inches or a snug 42. Shoulders- 14.5 inches across. Sleeve length is 18 inches. Shoulder to Waist- 13 inches Waist to Hem- 32 inches Back Neck to Waist- 14 inches *ALL SALES FINAL.
