Antique Edwardian French Handmade Lace Blouse Cameo Buttons Incredible!. This is a very special handmade lace net blouse with handmade lace ruffles, black velvet ribbon and shell cameo buttons. The blouse was purchased from the Monterey Museum and dates to around 1900. It has no labels but looks French and most likely was custom made in Paris for a wealthy client. Measurements are approximate at collar 12”, shoulders 15”, bust 36”, 22” waist and length 22” from shoulder to the cotton peplum. The condition of the netting, lace and velvet is in excellent condition. All five of the shell cameo buttons are present and the many little snaps appear to all be there. There is a whispery silk lining which is torn at the top, and loose overall. This could be removed if desired.
