Gorgeous antique blouse from the Edwardian period - early 1900s. Delicate blouse has a fine semi sheer cotton bodice that feels like silk - below the lace in the front. Pretty floral designs. With mesh netting and open lace work that continues around the back. The back is totally mesh and lace so its sheer. The sleeves have 2 lace and mesh layers that begin below the very fine mesh below the shoulder edge, the shorter layer lays on top. Fine lace detail at the end of the sleeves and across the top front of the bodice and the back. Bust opens to 40 inches. Waist opens to 34 inches. Shoulder seam to seam is 15 inches.Sleeve is 17 inches long to the bottom of the lace.Peplum below the waistband is open - curved side slits.Length is 19 inches. Hook and loop closure down the back. Peplum below the waistline in the front. A few tiny repairs at the left side mesh under the arms, not at all noticeable. Small area of a couple of inches of slight darkening of the white on the left side also under the arm - also barely visible. Blouse is in overall wonderful condition. Mannequin measurements are: 34 / 24-1/4 / 34-1/2 inches. The antique petticoat will be offered separately.
