This heavy satin vintage swing coat is a stunning piece of fashion history from the 1950s era. The coat is beautifully tailored in ivory Satin which has celery hued clusters of bamboo. Coat has two deep front pockets, a 9” deep shawl collar, oriental knot woven one button closure. Adding to the garment’s elegance, the coat’s golden colored quilted interior lining has a deeply embroidered floral design along the coat’s opening and across interior of shoulder/collar area. This coat does not have any size marker/label. It is generously cut ( as swing coat’s are) best suited to a contemporary M/L size. The coat was custom sewn by the Ying Tai Company in Hong Kong. This regal coat is perfect for any occasion you deem special, adding full-on glamour to your existing vintage collection. Please note 2 flaws mentioned in photo gallery: There is a nearly invisible light, tea-colored spot on the back of the coat obscured within coat’s folds. Coat has NOT been dry cleaned, so we fully expect this stain can be successfully removed by any reputable dry cleaner. It is barely noticeable, but must be mentioned. There is a 6” segment of the hem which has come loose and should be simply whip stitched to close. This coat has been carefully stored in climate control and is from a smoke free home.
