🌷1920s Art Deco Liquid Satin Wedding Gown / Bridal Dress Veil w/Wax Flowers

This stunning 1920s wedding dress is made of high-quality satin and adorned with delicate lace and wax flowers. The dress features an empire waistline, and huge tulle train trimmed in lace.....making it the perfect choice for any bride-to-be looking for an elegant and romantic look. Also includes a separate satin slip, that is beautiful and can be worn on its own. Measurements of the slip: Bust 28-32 Waist 28-34 Hips 38-46 Bodice length 15 Skirt length 39 Total 54 Sweep 65 The dress is a size S (photographed on my modern size 2 dress form ) and has a chest size of 36, waist size of 28, and hip size of 44-48. The shoulder to shoulder measurement is 13 inches, and the waist to hem length is 44 inches. The veil is three layers the longest layer is 140 inches long, the middle layer is 41 inches long, and the shortest layer is 30 inches long. They are 30–48 inches wide . A beautiful wax flower appliqué and a wax flower crown that adorns the top of the veil . The dress is an original antique piece, which adds a touch of art deco style to any wedding occasion. I even purchased the cake topper from the original owner. She wore this on her wedding day in 1923. Condition: preowned Antique condition. Notable issues: faint yellowing and spots. These are minor, and I suspect will brighten nicely with a trip to your local heirloom dry cleaner (unfortunately the soiling along the hemline was not cleaned prior to storage, and it needs a quick trip to the cleaner). I have removed the wax flower appliqué on the bust (so it can be dry cleaned easily-it was just attached with a couple of stitches inside) and also so the wax flowers and headband can be wrapped in cloth- which is the proper way to store). The longest layer of the veil does have some small tears, and a repair approximately 4 inches long. The veil may need to be restored – but the lace and headband is in lovely condition. * cannot guarantee long-term durability due to the age of the fabric and thread. The fabric does feel soft and strong but if you are planning to wear, please handle with care. Sold as-is
