Item Tag Vintage Cape Nursing

Vintage 1940s dark navy blue wool nurse's cape from The C.E. Ward Company of New London, Ohio. Features a brilliant red wool interior lining, chain neck hanger, structured front button closure, and custom "B.D.H." embroidered collar lettering with an interior monogram pocket tag. Measures approximately 33.5 inches in length and 26 inches across. Displayed on a size 8 professional mannequin for fit reference. Condition: Vintage. The heavy wool is in good structural shape overall, but it does have some small moth holes consistent with age. It has been lint-rolled a few times, though a few stray lint balls or small hairs may still be present.
