Offering this striking antique silk, cotton, and lace lawn dress in sheer off-white fabric. Might also have been a modest wedding dress, as it has a built-in mesh underlayer on top and a number of special little details including ball embroidery on the skirt, a buttoned-down overlay on the shoulders, and an embroidered belt. There is normal age wear to the dress including some areas of toning in the pleats of the skirt that I have not attempted to clean, a couple missing hooks, and a couple less than 1" square snags, but overall it's complete and lovely to behold. (The belt would sit centered when worn but is hanging down in the pictures because it is just pinned and not sewn shut.) Measures about 48" long with a 32" bust and 24" waist.
