Stunning 1950s Traina Norell silk lame cocktail dress This was designed by Norell , Traina Norell was a collaboration between the designer and the businessman Anthony Traina This is strapless with a boned bodice and a full skirt that is pleated at the waist This is in overall excellent condition there is some darkening at the top of the bodice and in places in the skirt . There is some creasing to the lame in places but it ads to the overall patina This is truly a work of art and looks stunning under lights This is xs/s Approx measurements : bust 34” waist 24” hips very full length 40”, I wouldn’t go bigger than a size 4
Crafted from premium black silk faille, the bodice features an elegantsweetheart neckline paired with charmingpuff sleeves. There are no tears, fading, holes, wear spots, fraying or splitting.
Vintage 50s Noelle Traina Peach Lace Fit Flare Dress Tea Length Bust 36, waist 24 in. Dress has ISSUES, the outer lace layer has a sparkly kind of plastic overlay that is Peeling OFF (something like iridescent tinsel) it's hard to photograph. It could be trimmed as there are sections that are still intact. The lining of the bodice is disintegrating, the skirt lining is stiff taffeta with some staining and minor damage. Hole skirt in overlay pictured Belt, collar, and sleeve is trimmed in sequins.
