HANDMADE Vintage Champagne/Cream Colored Liquid Satin w/TrainWedding Dress sz.Sm

This LUSCIOUS Rich Liquid Satin Champagne colored handmade Vintage Wedding Dress is absolutely gorgeous!! -probably from the 1920's - 1940's. Dress has 26 covered buttons down the front-they don't button but have snaps and hooks to close. Sweet curved neckline. 9 satin  covered buttons on the sleeves with handmade embroidered loops ( see #10 picture) Each detail is superb and well sewn (see last picture) even the hem which is about 1/4" is all hand done!! The train was sewn in 3 panels and is 60" in length from the waist and has a span of 80" (#3 picture) Dress has nice small shoulder pads. A handmade bow in back has 4 separate bows to it and hand sewn on.  The is a quite small dress and could be custom made and so not exactly sure of the size but measures approximately: Bust: 30" Waist: 24" at the very smallest point, Sleeves are 22" and come to a point-wrist is about 6"around. Length from the shoulder to the bottom front of the dress is 50". There in NOT a flaw, discolored, stain etc. on the dress. The quality of the satin is very high and has some weight to it. It is exceptional!! This dress could be in a museum of some sort or theater costumes. *Appraised several years ago at between $800-$1800. Recently lowered price and will accept reasonable good offers.

Everything is perfect on this gown, no alterations were ever made . It is a classic Size 8 bridal gal. Bear in mind that quality bridal gowns, such as this , tend to run small. Rule of thumb is to get a size to two sizes up from your normal dress size. This is a size 8 but too small for me , a standard 8. It is more like a size 6 .

Real Antique 1920s Flapper Wedding Gown Train Headpiece Pearls Rhinestones

A spectacular example of an original 1920s wedding dress for a very wealthy lady, this dress still has the original train, headpiece, purse, and extra never-used pearl beads as part of the sale. Prong set rhinestones and unique beads adorn the dress, and if you look closely there is a butterfly in the center of the belt. The closure is on the left side and there are two layers to the dress. The shawl is lined in silk chiffon, which is ripping in some areas. Beautiful lovebirds adorn the bottom of the train and one is carrying a flower into a heart. The original hooks and eyes to attach the shawl to the shoulders are no longer there. As you can see from the photos, these pieces are in need of restoration. There are missing strands, broken closures, light stains, and holes. We have photographed many areas, and the most significant. areas of damage. If you are an interested buyer and would like more images we are happy to provide them. The head piece no longer has a closure, and when you look at the interior, you can see remnants of a tulle veil are sewn into the top. The purse is missing a wrist strap. We were able to find any label or note as to who made or wore this dress. This is sold as is, please view all photos prior to purchasing.
