Charming red and white gingham check sundress with a smocked stretch bodice and cross-back straps. Features a flowy gathered midi skirt for a cottagecore/picnic look. Lightweight seersucker-style checked fabric, sleeveless with square neckline. Preowned in good condition with some minor fraying/loose threads at the bodice seam near the straps (shown in photos). Richilene New York vintage bronze & gold lame midi cocktail dress Size 10 (vtg)

DRESS: Fabulous vintage bronze/brown and metallic gold accented organza midi cocktail dress from Richilene New York. Fitted bodice has a square neckline and natural waistline. Skirt is pleated and flared and falls midi length to a bubble hem. Long sleeves are semi sheer with puff shoulders but semi fitted silhouette - they have slits and hidden interior snap closures at the cuff. This dress is fully lined in a rich brown satin, save for the arms for the slightly sheer effect. Interior of the bodice has snap closures on the corners and up along towards the shoulders to secure foundational garment/bra straps. An amazing collector's piece from a very well known high end New York house - this dress is also on point for current season dresses and is in that lovely twilight fashion mode where it is both retro and on current trend. BELT: The coordinating belt is three braided strands held to shape by little gold tone bracelets and it closes with a carved clasp. The belt is not adjustable as designed. Material: The tag is missing, but this is likely a combination of synthetics. I have other Richilene gowns that are 100% silk, but I am guessing due to the organza/chiffon and metallics here this is synthetic. It could be a silk/metallic combination, which Richilene certainly produced, but I cannot vouch for this as there is no material tag. Size: Vintage size 10, please go by measurements.
