This is an amazing arts and crafts period day skirt. I have seen illustrations of this style skirt used for sports like tennis and crocket. It is made of a heavy ribbed cotton. The waist is 30 inches and the hips will fit up to 46 inches. From the waist band to the hem is 35.5 inches. It has great details. Look at the buttons and the pocket construction. I believe if you wore this today people would think it was a designer skirt. It was high fashion in its day. There are scattered light spots and some wear but for its age it is in good condition. Sturdy enough to wear.
