There is an elastic waste and it is a sleeveless dress with the matching jacket that goes over. The product is a vintage 1970s Jennifer Gee 2-piece black and white plaid pleated dress suit set in size 16. This original dress suit is made of 100% polyester material and is in excellent condition. I do not see any stains or holes. There are a couple of small snags. The zipper is also in working order. There are belt loops on the dress, but I no longer have the original belt. Both are stretch knit polyester that was a staple in the late 60s early 70s wardrobe. Could be worn as separates, pair the shirt with slacks or jeans and the skirt with a solid shirt or sweater. Shirt is long sleeve button up with an amazing butterfly collar.
