1980s vintage sheer dress in a lovely plum/wine shade. It had embroidered, slightly ruched sequined front bodice and buttons all the way down to the hem. Tag size removed but fits like a modern size medium. Measurements below. It can be worn as a standalone piece or layered over other garments. In very good preowned condition. APOSTROPHE NWT VTG 2-Piece Plum Skirt Set L/S Top (16/18W) & Skirt XL(18-20) This set was originally owned by a wealthy shopaholic who had an entire condo in an affluent area just to store her purchases - she never actually lived there. Most of the clothes and shoes she kept there were from 70s - 90s and were either unworn or worn only once or twice. This set is unworn, still with its original tags, and while it has an 80s vibe, there are no shoulder pads, and in the 80s an outfit like this would definitely have had shoulder pads, so most likely it is early 90s. Apostrophe calls this color 'Berry', but to me it looks more like plum. The top is a soft rayon/spandex blend, and it is size 16/18W. The skirt is polyester and is size XL(18-20). Although they are technically different sizes, Women's (W) sizes are larger than Misses sizes, so a Misses size 18-20 is comparable to a Women's size 16/18W.
