Extremely rare, glamorous and fun 1950s cotton full circle novelty skirt set in dreamy blue featuring people playing on the beach, suntanning, sailing, golfing and just having an excellent time by the coast. An Original Casual Time of California. Major Marilyn Monroe frolicking on the French Italian Riviera vibes. The skirt is a full circle and features a metal Conmar zipper. The strapless top features boning, pleating, a sweetheart neckline and closes in the back 3 buttons (the 4th one was unfortunately lost when I was dancing in the Greek Isles!) and a snap. Pinked seams. Both pieces are in excellent condition. Buttons could easily be moved to make for a tighter more precise fit. Something around a size small / medium but check measurements for the perfect fit. I'm so excited to have this available to you! These play sets were so popular in the late 70's to early 80's. You really don't find them anymore so they are actually pretty rare, especially with both pieces. This features a wrap around/diaper style short that is one flat piece with ties. You put the crotch in place then tie the front part around the waist and tie in the back. Then, You bring up the back side of the shorts to cover the bottom and you tie it in the front. They end up overlapping at the side. The top has a fully ruched back with a front tie closure. Will fit any size medium. Don't feel confused by the 11/12 and 13/14 on the tag. Those numbers meant something different when this set was made.
