Made by Schiesser in slippery soft Perlon, a unique silky smooth nylon made in Ge r ma n y and similar to the slippery British Bri nylon by ICI. Has a beautiful deep sheer organza hem of floral embroidery in shades of Pink ,Sunflower S h a d e s o f Cornflower with Green leaves.
Vintage Perlon Peignoir Robe. Made in Germany. Size 36. Periwinkle Purple Chiffon with Ruffles. Mad Men. Romantic. Good pre-owned vintage condition with a few flaws to note. There are some small holes on the front right side near tie (photo 3). Seam has slightly detached on left front side where bodice meets the shoulder (photo 4). Seam slightly separated at one of the armpits (photo 6). Chest approximately 24 inches pit to pit. Length approximately 50 inches.
I'm sure you have at least one Perlon in your collection. The pattern and color of this beauty is RARE! The softest shade of baby blue. Adorable polka dots. There's a few tiny pinholes and picks on the back as shown but she's in otherwise amazing shape for her age.
