This offering really is a museum worthy dress!!! Back in the 1960s there was a short lived fad of disposable. . .wear one time paper dresses. While called "paper" dresses. . these dresses actually were made of layers of paper with other materials such as cellulose, rayon or polyesters. While made of and called a paper dress. . this dress actually has some strength to it and feels a bit like a regular fabric. This gorgeous dress is off white or cream and has eye catching floral and paisley designs and a bronze type color. This dress has a halter style top and an overlapping front bodice. The open upper back really adds class, elegance and sex appeal to this dress. A golden belt creates a more sleek & figure flattering look. There is a zipper closure in the back. There are pockets on the sides. It appears this dress has never been worn and is in phenomenal vintage condition!!!! There is some very light color variation throughout. . . but it appears to be by design and an intentional part of the manufacturing process. You can see this in photo # 6 & photo #8. This dress has an "ADELE CALIFORNIA" tag on the inside. . .We believe this is the store the dress was sold at. . but not manufactured at.
