Vintage mod! Mr. Mort by Stan Herman 1960's Black Pleated Cocktail Dress Size S Bow. Good pre-owned condition. Zipper, snaps and hooks in good working order. Some wear issues. Small hole on the back of skirt that can be repaired. Staining on inside of cuffs. Could use a dry cleaning. There is no material label on this issue. I feel that it is a wool blend. THE CUFFS HAVE HIDDEN ZIPPERS SEWN INTO THE SLEEVE SEAM AND THERE IS A ZIPPER ON THE BACK OF THE DRESS. THERE ISN'T A FABRIC CONTENT LABEL BUT I BELIEVE THE DRESS IS MADE OF WOOL. IN ADDITION, THE DRESS HAS FINE QUALITY FINISHING DETAILS SUCH AS BEING FULLY LINED IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE SILK, THE HEM BEING FINISHED WITH A WIDE LACE BINDING AND BRA STRAP HOLDERS SEWN TO THE LINING AT THE SHOULDERS THE DRESS IS AN ELEGANT, CLASSIC GARMENT IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION, SHOWING NO SIGNS OF WEAR. Lined, peplum has contrast trim, fabric covered buttons at shoulders. Very petite (Fit a 5ft tall, size 1 teenager ). Seams are not surged, a bit of fraying at seams inside dress.
The sizing within the overalls say "EX" which equates to a US XL. Because of the style this is lower than typical "pit" location. There are multiple flaws- mostly the missing of 3 of the buttons. The button on the right strap and the 1st and 4th button down the front are missing.
