My mom would've like this dress. It has a nylon zip up the front, washes in cold water, dries overnight and never needs ironing. The high collar has a tie --or maybe that tie was intended as a sash--there are belt loops. It measures 15" across the shoulders, has a 24-26" waist and measures 16" from back neck to waist and 24" from waist to hem of the ungathered, bell-shaped skirt. It captures the spirit of its time--mobility, convenience and haste that still wanted grace.
