*NO SHIPPING TO CHINA, DO NOT BID as you will be Unable to Pay** Late 1940's Novelty Print Princess-Styled House Coat or Dress, All Cotton with a Blue Floral Print that resembles Poppies or Hibiscus Flowers. Blush Pink Flowers in and Loden Green Leaves, Buttons Down the Front with Bright Blue Plastic Buttons which are original. Rolled Cuffs, Portrait Collar edged in delicate lace, Pink ribbon threaded thru the edges of the collar. Tag is super cool, "Monte Carlo Fashions Reg. U.S. Pat Off" as well as a fabric size tag which has faded. The very Top and Very Bottom buttons are missing and there's a mend where the bottom button was (see pic). The most noteworthy detraction on this dress are the areas of yellowed stains that are wide spread, quite faint, but still noticeable in bright light. The white fabric has an embossing in it which reminds me of the "Wedding Ring" pattern in a vintage quilt, (that's the best way I know to describe the pattern), two fold-over top front pockets. Back of the dress is super fab, Swagged Wide V-Shaped Belt accented by the same buttons that are at the front, with vertical seaming down back. Measures Chest 34", Waist 26", Shoulder seam to seam 15 1/4", Hip 44", length rear nape seam to hem 42 1/2". Shown over a Crinoline which is NOT included.
