This is a karakul and mink collar fur coat made by hand in the 60’s in Cleveland Ohio by The May Company. This coat is best suited for a small statured woman, estimated size SMALL OR EXTRA SMALL. No size label present. Please see photos of measurements taken, especially the sleeve lengths. Condition: missing the closure tab on the front (I left the string intact to show where it originally was) hook is still present. Slight fur loss on the inside collar above the tag. Vintage 1940s Henri Bendel Mongolian Lamb with Mink Fur Full Length Coat XS. This Beautiful coat has seen more winters than even imaginable. For how much wear I was told it has had, it is in a good condition considering. Although it's not perfect, this coat can be easily repaired. Both shoulders have cracked , the right mink cuff is lifting off a little bit, and the two lower toggles have detached at one of the two points but are still functional. All these flaws are pictured. The collar is a chocolate brown mink and in great shape. There is no clasp or button closure. Beautiful jacket with 3/4 length sleeves and side seam pockets has a curved front. Bust 21" from underarm seam to underarm seam straight across the back.
