In great condition overall, there are one or two missing sequins, and a few small little moth holes at the back neck- but the lace overlay conceals them nicely so it doesn’t affect the look/wear of the sweater.
About the designer:Cathy Hardwick (b. 1933) was born in Korea and moved to the US in the 1950s. Hardwick moved to New York. In 1972 she started Cathy Hardwick her own label, after she was approached by Bloomingdales.

Made from black lambswool, it features intricate beading and a floral pattern, giving it a charming and feminine look.

50s 60s VTG Beaded Sweater Top Shell Sleeveless Lined Lambs Wool Angora sz 36. Gorgeous, still in its original box from Emery, Bird, Thayer a department store in Kansas City that closed in 1968. This beauty does not appear to have been worn. Laying flat, it is 16.5" across under the arm holes, 13" across the shoulders & 19" long from shoulder to hem. It is 70% lambs wool, 20% angora rabbit hair & 10% nylon. Please see all pictures as they form part of the description. Perfect for a party!
