Item Tag Ivory And Stripes

This 1920’s silk sports dress was custom made for the woman who wore it. You will notice her monogram on the bodice. It was made of ivory and striped silk. The bust is 34 inches, the waist is 30 inches and the hips are 40 inches. From the shoulder to the hem is 41.5 inches. It has underarm stains and scattered spots throughout on the ivory silk, It would be excellent for museum exhibition because the stains wouldn’t be noticeable in soft museum lightenings. I have illustrations of women playing tennis in similar dresses. It’s so chic. I bet she had a striped silk jacket to wear with it when she wasn’t playing. Upsize photos for details.
