For sale is a vintage one size kaftan / balloon dress by Free Island. The woven cotton fabric is mid-weight and sturdy. I believe it would fit a medium to large person, as long as your calves / knees are not extra heavy. The bottom opening grips a little and prevents you from taking long strides. Otherwise it's roomy and comfortable and an awesome throw-back in time! Lying flat it measures 38 inches across at approximately the chest. It is 35 inches from shoulder to top of the front split. You can see that the sides hang down 8-10 inches further over your thighs.
