N exceptional authentic Victorian bodice jacket dating to the late 1870s or early 1880s. One small, light tear located on the delicate sheer gauze fabric of the shoulder capelet. The center back features an authentic, in-period diamond-shaped dark velvet panel addition neatly integrated by its original owner to widen the waist and bust profile.
